Inception, Storm Constantine's Info Service
Aleph, Angels, Aegypt, AIs, Axolotls and Androgyny
Enter the fantastic worlds of Storm Constantine
Inception is author Storm Constantine's official worldwide
fans' organization and is now being handled as a
Web-based 'zine
by Wendy "Wiebke" Darling.
Formerly it was run by Steve Jeffery and Vikki Lee France in
England as a mail service. It never has been quite a "fan club,"
since there were no membership fees or dues; Steve and Vikki
preferred to work on an as-paid basis, and of course, the current
Website is free for use.
Back copies of some of the old Inception publications are available from
me directly for about $5 each.
Books by Storm Constantine:
- The books of Wraeththu (available as a single omnibus edition
in the US from Tor/Orb; a celebrated trilogy where, on a
post-apocalyptic Earth, a new race of powerful hermaphrodites has
emerged):
- The Enchantments of Flesh and Spirit
- The Bewitchments of Love and Hate
- The Fulfilments of Fate and Desire
- The Wraiths of Will and Pleasure (long-awaited sequel,
first in a new trilogy from Tor in the US and Immanion Press in
the UK)
- The Artemis Cycle, available in the UK. ("On another world,
feminism goes a bit too far"):
- The Monstrous Regiment
- Aleph
- Other standalone novels, available from the UK:
- Hermetech -- a critically acclaimed SF novel
- Burying the Shadow -- a great retelling of the
vampire myth; includes the Parzupheim, similar to the Grigori
- Sign for the Sacred -- a look at religion and
charismatic leaders
- Calenture -- lots of weirdness and fun (floating
cities!)
- The Grigori Trilogy (fallen angels amongst us) -- these are
available in the UK from Creed and are being published in the US
by Stephe Pagel's
Meisha Merlin Publishing:
- Stalking Tender Prey
- Scenting Hallowed Blood
- Stealing Sacred Fire
- The Inward Revolution -- nonfiction
- Egyptian Birth Signs -- nonfiction
- Inception limited edition chapbooks:
- An Elemental Tale (illustrated short-story)
- Colurastes (illustrated poetry collection)
- Three Heralds of the Storm -- available from
Meisha Merlin
(this book is dedicated to me)
